Since conference season has already kicked off in full force, I know some of y'all have stories to share already! 😎
Have you spoken at a conference or will you be speaking at one? Share any info in the comments below so other members of this community know who to look out for on the program - and if you've got a recording on YouTube or elsewhere, you can embed it using

Self-promote yourself to the stars ✨ We're here for it!
Thanks to @eyalestrin for the AWS Reinforce highlights 🙌
@patrick_londa has also been at AWS Reinforce - @cloudyadvice what about you?

I was thinking of an idea; is it possible that we as an OPS community can host a virtual talk or conference, invite some expert community speakers and let them talk on their desired topic?

Great idea, @jatin!
I'd be curious to know whether you would prefer a webinar format, or something that could be experienced asynchronously (like this community). Say, for example, a video intro/summary with an AMA/Q&A in the comments below.
Living on a different continent to @johnson_brad and @patrick_londa, I am partial to being able to communicate async and pretend that timezones don't exist 😎
Thank you @ellativity for the options.
I think asynchronous would be better as it allows for more interactive sessions.
How i imagine right now is like a person giving a talk or demo on a topic and then we follow up with Q/A.
Aynything thing where can have 2 way interaction is my imagination right now.
Thanks so much for sharing your ideas, @jatin! I love this concept and will start working on something right away!
Looking forward to it !!!
I recently spoke at FinOpsX in Austin in June. No recording but this blog post is a recap of my talk: community.ops.io/cloudyadvice/buil....
Yay! I love that you recapped your talk with a blog post, even if there's no recording. This is such a great way to ensure that your presentation and content is available for others to review and share.
I was at RSAC earlier this year - which was trippy being out in public around that many people.
Not sure where my next event will be...
I'll keep monitoring this post for other folks' recommendations and tips.
I gotta say, I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet!
For those of y'all who have attended in-person events, have you found them to be overly restrictive, overly lax, or just right? It's a matter of personal preference, of course, so there's no wrong answers. I'm just curious!
