Hello everyone!
Erik from Stockholm, Sweden. Currently working with helping companies build and improve cloud-based solutions and architectures, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and platform engineering - mainly with AWS in practice. Worked in a IT consultant role in the past 28 years.
Saw a note in dev.to about this community and thought this sounded like a great place :-)
Thanks for joining the community, @eriklz! We're lucky to have someone with your experience as a founding member!
Nice to meet you Erik, I think I'll want to check in with you about Web RTC and alternatives for AWS, but that's on a back burner for now. I do a good bit with serverless and lambdas, and have used serverless and amplify to deploy.

Everyone - @thoughtpoet is a highly skilled backend architect and cloud wizard. βοΈMake sure to follow him!
Thank you, Brad, very kind of you to say that. I looked forward to getting more involved in the community. --Fred
Hello there !
I am derlin, a passionate software engineer (hard on coding) drawn to devops against my will... Mostly working with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and OpenShift (on-premise) right now, I had to learn the ropes of gitops (and all the tools/technologies surrounding it).
I must admit I enjoy it more than expected ;)
I love to learn (which I do well), but also to share. This community seems the perfect fit !
PS: I am already active on dev.to (same handle), where I post more software/less infra posts. See you there if you are interested !
Sounds like you're in the right place! Thank you for joining The Ops Community, @derlin! Can't wait to read your next post :)
Welcome @derlin! So wonderful to have you as a founding member of our community!
Hey there!
I'm happy to be in this space. I'm a software developer turned developer advocate currently working as a lead devrel engineer at New Relic. I'm based in Israel, but you can find me often at devops and developer conferences around the globe.
Happy to be here!
Ben

Looking forward to your posts and checking those tutorials, and particularly interested in Observability and SecOps (because I always want to avoid it and shouldn't). --Fred
Hi everyone! So glad to be part of this community.
I'm Marija from Microtica, a software developer and a co-founder of Microtica.
We're building a DevOps self-service platform for developers to be able to setup infrastructure and deploy apps in minutes.
Naturally because of this I'm interested in all topics DevOps, AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps.
I've authored several articles on devops related topics, so would love to contribute to the community and learn from it.
Welcome to the community, @mmarulka! Thanks for sharing!
Nice site! I look forward to reading the blog articles. Will check out the platform as well. --Fred
Thanks Fred, looking forward to your feedback π
Hi There,
I am Jatin, an AWS Engineer who is trying to shift from developer -> Core DevOps. Have been writing about aws for my employer for quite a time, but nobody talked about DevOps or how DevOps can help modern software application development.
Thank you OPS community for giving me this platform where I can learn and help others.
I will try to focus more on the basics where people who are just joining this community or starting their journey with DevOps are not overwhelmed.
Let's make this platform, this OPS community the best place/home for all the passionate cloud engineers, DevOps and tech guys.
Here is my first blog .
I regularly post about aws, and DevOps on LinkedIn too:-
Linkedin:- linkedin.com/in/jatinmehrotra/
Twitter:- twitter.com/imjatinmehrotra
Welcome to the community, @jatin! We're glad to have you as a founding member, and we also hope we can make this place a special home for all CloudOps and DevOps folks :)
Thank you @patrick_londa for your warm welcome.
I wanted to suggest something for the platform, is three a possibility to create a account/page on linkedin for the ops community, so that members of this community can have better reach when they are tagging ops coomunity in their post?
Ask and you shall receive! LinkedIn page available here for tagging The Ops Community: linkedin.com/company/the-ops-commu...
Thanks for the suggestion @jatin!
Thanks @johnson_brad :D
Hey there everyone!
I'm so glad to have found this community!
I'm Jei from Malaysia. I'm a Developer turned Principal Cloud Architect, focusing on AWS and Azure cloud services coupled with other leading technologies in CI/CD, DevSecOps, Cloud Native, Monitoring and Observability. Been focusing on DevOps & Cloud for the past 6 years building innovative tools and solutions (both personal and professional) coupled with my development background experience working with startups and enterprise companies.
Finally found a home where I can truly share all of my Dev.to articles that are mostly related to Ops/SRE/Cloud <3. I'm looking to learn, share and grow more with the community.
My dev.to handle is the same, where I have been posting my articles so far. Looking forward to starting a journey in this community and growing with it :)
If anyone would like to connect, you can find me on LinkedIn and Twitter.
Welcome @jei! Glad to have you as a founding member of the community. Impressive to see you dig in so quickly. Can't wait to see what comes next!
Glad to be part of this community @johnson_brad ! I've been holding back on posting new Ops related articles in Dev.to wondering if it would get to the right audiences. With this community, I don't need to hold back any longer. Stay tune for new posts coming soon! Got loads to share in relation to AWS, Azure, etc.
I'm an advocate for all things lean, cloud, and automation. I help teams improve their feedback loops, build the right things (not just build things fast), and help teams make data-driven decisions. I believe that people and culture are critical for transformational change.
With a strong background in Software Development, and over a decade of experience consulting to enterprises, my passion for helping people, understanding computers, and problem-solving has made me a sought-after trusted advisor and thought-leader.
Sounds like you've got a great background! Thanks for joining the community, @drewkhoury!
Happy to be here!

Hi,
I'm Rich Burroughs. I work as a Senior Developer Advocate at Loft Labs, where I focus on Kubernetes self-service and multi-tenancy. We created the open source tools vcluster and DevSpace.
Before working in DevRel I did infrastructure work for many years. I started as a sysadmin in the 1990s, and later move into doing config management and SRE.
I'm the host of a podcast called Kube Cuddle where I interview people in the Kubernetes community. You should be able to find it in your podcast player of choice.
Welcome to the community, @richburroughs! We have a Podcast page where we showcase a number of Ops-related podcasts. I'll add Kube Cuddle to that page. It seems like a great new addition with some recognizable experts. Thanks for joining!
Hey thanks Patrick, I really appreciate you doing that!
You can view the Kube Cuddle listing here.
