I am preparing for my terraform certificate and probably write some more blogs in my terraform series.
Along with this, I am working on a project where I need to find all working cloudwatch alarms in their system and convert their default metrics alarms into custom metrics alarms.
Thanks for sharing @jatin! Looks like you'll soon have your first #terraform Ops badge....
Looking forward to it :D, but my major concern is that by using this terraform series on this platform anybody can learn terraform fundamentals and call them as terraform PRO <3
That's what us Ops moderators are for... 😜
I can kick it off and say that I'm learning about Secure Hash Algorithms (SHA) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools this week for an upcoming post. I've never studied anything about SHA-1, SHA-2, or MD5, etc. but it's interesting trying to pick up all new abbreviations and terminology.
Great idea @patrick_londa! I've been meaning to create a discussion post like this as well to check in with folks.
If you stopped in to read this post, even if you don't feel like sharing what you're working on, please comment with a 👋 so we know you're interested in more posts like this.
As far as what I'm working on this week, one Ops-related task is to publish a formal call for moderators, with more information about the privileges and responsibilities moderators have on The Ops Community. I'm hoping new folks are interested in getting more involved with Ops as moderators, just like @cloudyadvice has been doing!
Working on an ebook- been getting DMs from my local people on how to fix simple things on a computer- I realized my local computer courses cover basic things in depth.
That's a great project, @cndavu! I'm sure they'll find that really valuable :)
I’m preparing to take the aws cloud practitioner certification exam.
that's exciting, @enilorac, good luck on the exam!
Thank you
@thoughtpoet what's the Swim team up to this week? Anything that might interest our cloud engineering audience? I know folks like @idanraman might be interested in some distributed systems work you're doing, if you feel compelled to share.
thanks
