Hey everyone,
I run a small online shop selling handmade accessories. I've been trying to grow it for the past year, but marketing has been my biggest headache. I’ve tried Instagram ads, a bit of SEO, and even hired a freelancer once, but the results were close to nothing. I feel like I’m missing something bigger — maybe some kind of community effort or task-based group promotion? I can’t afford a full marketing agency, but I’m open to new ideas or platforms that offer more collaborative approaches. Have any small business owners here found success working with online communities or coordinated teams?
Thanks for reading!

Really appreciate all the thoughtful replies! Sometimes just hearing from others in the same boat is encouraging enough. That site looks interesting — I like the idea of shared goals and structured teamwork. I’ll take a closer look and see if it fits my shop’s needs. Thanks again to everyone who chimed in!
I had a similar experience with my Etsy shop — decent products, but not enough traction. What helped me was tapping into a task-group platform where people work together on shared goals like traffic boosting, reviews, or outreach. One site I joined recently is crowd-groups.com/en/
It connects users to organized team efforts, which made a real difference for my store visibility. It's worth exploring if you’re trying to grow on a limited budget.
Running a small shop is tough, especially when you’re doing everything on your own. I’ve been there too, and marketing always felt like a shot in the dark. You’re smart to look into group approaches — sometimes working together gets better reach than going solo. Curious what others will suggest!
