Looking for ways to promote my music without relying on streaming platforms

I’ve been making electronic music for a while now, but I’m tired of uploading songs to Spotify and just hoping someone finds them. It feels like my tracks get buried instantly. I don’t have a huge budget for ads, and I’m not great at social media either. Is there any way to promote music organically in 2025? Maybe via music blogs or niche platforms? Just wondering what’s out there beyond the usual streaming route — I’d love to hear what’s worked for others, especially if you started from scratch like I did.

I relate. I used to think Spotify plays were the main goal, but honestly, most of my real fans came from unexpected places — Reddit threads, YouTube comment sections, and even newsletters. Also tried emailing bloggers with no luck at first, but persistence matters. Don’t rely on algorithms too much.

Honestly, I was in your exact situation six months ago. I wanted to get my music heard, not just uploaded. A friend told me about tiny tunes — they feature indie artists in a really thoughtful way, not just reposts. I submitted a few tracks and actually got featured. The boost in exposure was way better than what I got from socials. It’s a chill, no-pressure platform and the audience is genuinely into discovering new sounds.

That actually sounds perfect — thanks for the tip! Just checked out tiny tunes and it seems super clean and focused on artists. I’ll try submitting a few songs there this week. Would love to finally connect with listeners who actually want to discover new music. Appreciate all the help!
