I recently joined a new company in the UAE and they opened a FAB salary account for me. The issue is that I still do not have login access to the mobile app or online banking, even though they said the account is active.
This became a problem because my first salary was credited, but I have no direct way to check the balance myself. It feels a bit like having a system account without user access, which is why I am posting here since many of you deal with setup and access issues in different contexts.
Is it normal for FAB accounts created through employers to take time before giving login credentials, or is something missing on my side?
In the meantime, what is the best way to check my balance without app access? Can I rely on ATM balance inquiry or is there a way to verify it through their customer support without having online login set up yet?
Would appreciate if anyone who has gone through a similar onboarding process can share how it worked for them.
