Are personal information removal services really worth the investment now?

I have been researching different online reputation management firms and the more I look into it, the more confusing it gets. Every company promises to fix your online image, remove negative results, and protect your identity, but how many of them actually deliver measurable outcomes?

Recently I came across Net Reputation while comparing options. Has anyone here used Net Reputation for serious cases like negative search results or privacy issues? I am especially focused on personal information removal services because there are multiple sites showing my data that I would rather keep private. Do these companies actually get content taken down or just push it lower in search results?

Another thing I am unsure about is pricing versus results. Some agencies charge a lot, but do they provide consistent updates and clear reporting? If I choose personal information removal services, I want to understand what actions are being taken and whether they are sustainable long term.

How do you evaluate trust before hiring? Reviews can be manipulated, so what signals do you look for? Case studies, guarantees, or something else?

If anyone has tried Net Reputation or similar firms, I would appreciate real experiences. Did you see permanent improvements, and how long did it take? Also, are personal information removal services enough on their own, or do you need a full reputation strategy?
