A small experiment in systems and long-term choices
I've been exploring 1 in 65 million, a free browser-based pixel-art life simulator set in Thailand. Each new character starts with a randomly assigned birthplace and family background, then moves through school, careers, finances, relationships, family, health, and aging.
What I find interesting from a systems perspective is how small decisions compound. The simulation tracks happiness, health, knowledge, relationships, and financial well-being, so there isn't one universal definition of a successful run. You can also save multiple characters and continue across devices after signing in.
Try it here: 1 in 65 million
The project uses authored stories, predefined rules, and weighted randomness rather than live AI-generated events, which makes it a neat way to think about how rules shape outcomes.
